I like to collect some kinds of diecast car model, a part of widely variant toys in the world. Even though it's impressed like a kid, but that is hobby. Good hobby has no limitation for age, gender or social level. Collecting diecast model for me is enjoying activity to fill my spare time. Even just see its model design then buy and put it into my table, it will give me self satisfaction or refresh my mind.
Why Hot Wheels?
My favorite diecast cars have 1:24, 1:36 and 1:64 in scale. That's all common size for any manufacturing brands and models. 1:64 is my major collection and I prefer Hot Wheels product than others. This brand has launched so many variant models and hold some license from worldwide automotive manufacturer. Its price also not expensive. I live in Indonesia and Hot Wheels was supplied from factory at Malaysia (License Under Mattel Corporation). The cheapest price for a piece of common 1:64 scale is ~$2. The another premium series surely more expensive but still in average margin between the diecast toys competitors.
Why Muscle Cars?
Strong image, that's my reason. The real muscle car is designed use high engine performance, the old models give unique impressed car and no significant curve on their body design layer. Really strong vehicle at the time
